He has remained since then at the mountain top, having beaten an MLW superstar to hold onto the Carolina Cruiserweight Championship to take him to 3-0. After the match, he gave an interview with me, after having called this a statement win for Tenshi. The Hokage vowed to keep going hard in training and be a fighting champion. 

  January brought the Hokage full circle to kick off 2026 and close out Season 0 of Carolina Slam Jam as he was back in Greenville in the building where it all began. This was a full circle in more ways than one, as his opponent was his former tag team partner in the Longshots, “Killshot” Dylan Crossley, in a match that could have massive unforeseen impacts on CSJ’s first Season. Crossley, an established member of the House of Julious, had the chance to come into Season one as the Carolina Cruiserweight Champion, handing his faction a mathematical point advantage.  It wasn’t meant to be though, as the Hokage had his former tag team partner on the ropes when Cam Issac and Kairo “That Bitch” Cortez got involved with a Kendo stick giving Tenshi X a DQ win ensuring he retained his Carolina Cruiserweight Championship and kept his undefeated record alive.

  All of this leads into the 2026 CSJ Draft as Tenshi is unaffiliated with any of the 14 factions in the draft. While he has a well-documented friendship with Southeast Strong Style’s Team Leader, Bojack, and Pantheon’s Team Leader, Trey’von Ali, who came to his aid, you can almost guarantee all 14 factions will have eyes on the undefeated champion.

  Non-title victories earn a faction at least a single point, but should any of the 14 factions draft Tenshi X, every successful title defense Tenshi has will net his faction 3 points towards the season championship  The top two factions will be facing off in December at End of the Line to determine the 2026 Season Champion, with the winning faction earning championship matches at the 2027 Season Opener.

  There’s also going to be an even bigger target on Tenshi’s back, no matter where he winds up in the draft, as anyone who can knock him off his perch and break his undefeated streak by taking the Carolina Cruiserweight Championship from him will net their faction 5 points. Whoever holds the Carolina Cruiserweight Championship at the end of CSJ Season 1 will net their team an additional 5 points, whether it turns out to be Tenshi X or another talented Cruiserweight.

   Tenshi is arguably the biggest talking point going into CSJ Season 1. Week zero kicks off at Sunday Showdown on March 15th in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, but before we can get there on March 1st, the CSJ Draft takes place.   With 14 teams fighting for supremacy, and looking to make an immediate impact in 2026, Tenshi X just may be the key difference maker for any of the factions this year.
